Fear Leveling Guide

The fastest way to unlock Fiend abilities in Devil Hunter. Learn how to farm Fear XP by eating Devil Flesh, farming missions, and using surgery kits.

How to Level Up Fear Fast

Unlock your Fiend abilities (Dive, Uppercut) by maxing out your Fear. This guide covers the fastest methods, from eating Devil Flesh to farming missions.

For Fiend Players Only - Fear progression is exclusive to the Fiend race.

How do I know I'm gaining Fear?

When you perform an action that grants Fear XP (like eating flesh or killing a devil), a Red Aura will pop up around your character's body.

If you see the red aura, you are progressing!

Method 1: Consume Devil Flesh (FASTEST)

The absolute fastest way to level Fear is by eating Devil Flesh. Higher rarities grant massive XP boosts.

Buying from Black Market

Once you have farmed enough Cash (Yen), press N and head to the Black Market.

RarityPriceXP Gain
Uncommon Flesh~10k YenGood Start
Rare Flesh~50k YenBetter
Epic Flesh~200k YenBest XP

"Hold The Line" Farming

Don't have money? Farm the Hold The Line mission.

  1. Select any location
  2. Add multipliers for 10k+ Money Bonus
  3. A Devil is guaranteed to spawn
  4. Kill it to drop Random Devil Flesh

Method 2: Consume Body Parts

If you can't afford Devil Flesh, you can eat generic body parts (Arms, Eyes, Hearts). This gives less XP than Flesh, but is easier to get in bulk for beginners.

Best Sources

Zombie / Katana Raid

Even low levels can farm these raids to stack up on body parts quickly.

  • Zombie Raid: Warehouse near outskirts
  • Katana Man Raid: Construction site right of HQ

Cooldown: 1 hour

Surgery Kits

Use a Surgery Kit on a downed player or NPC in PVP to extract parts and gain Fear XP.

PVP Only - This method requires combat skills

Method 3: Door Devils

Shopping District Farm

In the Shopping District (near the Skateboard NPC), you will find interactive Doors.

  1. Talk to the Door
  2. Select the 2nd Option
  3. Select the 2nd Option again
  4. Devil becomes angry and attacks!

Verdict: Good for very early game, but slow compared to eating flesh.

For maximum efficiency, follow this progression:

  1. Level 1-10: Farm Door Devils (free, no investment)
  2. Level 10-30: Run "Hold The Line" for flesh drops
  3. Level 30+: Buy Epic Flesh from Black Market

Tips & Tricks

  • Always check the Black Market for flesh deals
  • Stack body parts from raids before consuming
  • Use multipliers on "Hold The Line" for bonus cash
  • Join a clan for group farming efficiency
